MAX helps people affected by the KI bushfires
We are all aware of the terrible fires that affected Kangaroo Island and the rest of Australia over the past few months. The MAX Services team discussed what we could do to directly help the people affected on Kangaroo Island. After a few phone calls we decided to donate a 25t crane and crew for a week to assist with unloading and placement of temporary accommodation units (donated by Fortescue Metals Group) for the people who lost their homes in the fires. When Adelaide depot manager, Kevin Robertson visited KI to see how the project was running – he said he was overwhelmed with gratitude from the locals for our support.
