    Project Supervisor

    We are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our team and oversee operations across our Adelaide and regional locations. If you’re passionate about leadership, safety, and project execution, we want to hear from you!

    About the Role:

    As the Project Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects and leading a team of operators, riggers, and tradespersons. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects across various sites, maintaining high standards of operation, and working closely with both the team and clients to meet project requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and ensure job sites are properly inspected, and that the correct equipment and personnel are in place
    • Conduct lift studies, coordinate, and monitor site activities
    • Lead site observations, and facilitate pre-start and toolbox meetings to ensure safe and efficient operations
    • Source and manage lifting equipment as required
    • Implement and manage operational plans, providing hands-on leadership, instruction, and feedback
    • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with our Policies and Procedures, maintaining safety and quality at every stage

    About You:

    To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in supervising teams, ideally within crane operations, rigging, or a related field. You will have a keen eye for safety, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

    Ideal qualifications and attributes include:

    • Proven experience supervising teams, preferably in crane, rigging, or related industries (shutdown operations, mining, construction, maintenance)
    • A commitment to safety leadership, with a demonstrated ability to manage risks and incidents
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
    • A proactive, resourceful decision-maker with a “CAN-DO” attitude
    • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, always focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes

    Minimum Requirements:

    • White Card
    • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
    • Availability to work overtime and travel to different locations as required
    • Willingness to work away from home as necessary
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and provide National Police Clearance

    Rigger

With one of the largest fleets of mobile cranes in South Australia, we are known for delivering safe, reliable, and timely services across a broad range of industries.     We are currently seeking experienced Riggers to support our existing projects and operations across our fleet, based at our Adelaide and regional locations.  If you have a strong safety focus and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you!

    About the Role:

    As a Rigger with MAX Services, you will work alongside a skilled team to ensure the safe and effective rigging of equipment and loads on a variety of projects. You will play an integral role in supporting our lifting operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest safety and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely rig and de-rig loads for crane operations, adhering to safety standards and company procedures
    • Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in safe working order
    • Work closely with the project team to plan and coordinate rigging operations
    • Assist with lifting operations on-site, ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently
    • Maintain accurate records of rigging equipment and site activities
    • Support team members in ensuring all tasks are completed according to MAX Services’ policies and procedures

    About You:

    To be successful in this role, you will have a solid background in rigging, with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. You will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to work independently when required.

    Ideal qualifications and attributes include:

    • RB, RI, or RA ticket
    • Experience in working at heights
    • White Card
    • Experience working on remote sites or mining operations is an advantage
    • A positive attitude and strong safety mindset
    • A proven track record as a reliable and efficient team member
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High-risk work licence for Rigging (RB, RI, or RA ticket)
    • White Card
    • Working at Heights certification
    • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
    • Ability to work overtime and travel to different locations as required
    • Willingness to work away from home as necessary

    Crane Operator / Rigger / Dogman

    We are currently seeking Crane Operators, Riggers and Dogmen to support work across our fleet. These positions will be based across our South Australian Depots

    About you:

    You will be an (min 5 years) experienced Crane Operator/Rigger/Dogman. Experience working in remote locations and on mine sites will be advantageous. You will have the following qualifications and/or experience:

    • CO licence – 5 years
    • RB, RI or RA Ticket
    • Working at Heights
    • HR Licence – minimum
    • HC Licence – preferable
    • White card

    You will have an excellent safety attitude and record, a proven track record as a reliable employee with a “can do” attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
