We're kicking off the week by shining a spotlight on one of our rising stars in the MAX Academy! 🌟
Meet Nathan, a 2nd-year apprentice based at our Whyalla depot, who joined MAX Services as a full-time apprentice and has recently completed his SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education). 🎓
Nathan is currently studying his Certificate IV in Mobile Crane Operations, and when asked what he enjoys most about his role, he shared that he loves the banter with his workmates, getting hands-on with different jobs, learning how cranes work, and figuring out how to rig up various loads. 🚛🔧
Looking ahead, Nathan is excited to gain more experience, especially in crane operator rigging on bigger projects and truck driving. We’re proud to be part of his journey and can't wait to see him continue to grow!

Inspiring Future Careers with The Smith Family & Playford International College 👷👷♀️
MAX Services have had a long-standing relationship with The Smith Family, and we were honored to host them along with the Playford International College to a site tour of our Dry Creek facility in Adelaide last week. The students had the opportunity to hear some of the team’s personal career journeys, tour our Adelaide facility, look, at and play in some of our cranes, and have a wonderful morning tea. It was a very rewarding day for all, and it was awesome to see the students engaged in what MAX Services has to offer in their future prospects.
