Arrival of MAX Services LTM 11200-9.1 Crane

 In News

Such a special day for MAX. Our LTM 11200-9.1 all terrain mobile crane hit South Australian soil! She’s in Adelaide at the moment and bound for the Upper Spencer Gulf where the MAX Heavy Lift Team will receive their OEM (Liebherr) training at Port Pirie.

This telescopic mobile crane has a capacity of 1200 tonnes and a reach of 188 metres that will allow MAX Services to expand its capabilities in construction and the maintenance of wind towers nationally.

It’ll also be used for construction and heavy lifting activities throughout markets that require specialist heavy lifting.

“The business has spent a lot of time on the selection of the best type of crane to bring into the country that will be a problem solver to all market sectors,” said Managing Director Mark Kuhn.

“It has a number of benefits that will set the business apart from the rest. The crane, albeit huge, is efficient and economical in its ability to mobilise/demobilise to project sites and is very agile and flexible on site.”

The new crane, planned to be in operation by late November 2018, will be the latest in a long line of achievements for MAX, who have been helping workers reach the heights of South Australia’s tallest regional infrastructure projects.

The Federal Government supported the acquisition through its Regional Jobs and Investment Package.
