Installation of Digester Lid, Christies Beach.

MAX Services completed a lift for Ovivo Australia to install a 22m diameter, 33 tonne digester lid at the Christies Beach treatment works using our LTM 1400 crane rigged with 100t of counterweight and 41.1metres of Y Guyed main boom.

The rigging for the lift was complex with 14 designated lift points. An equaliser arrangement was used to evenly share the load throughout the lift.

The lift was completed incident free and a safety supervisor was on site at all times.
