Derailed Wagon at Liberty Onesteel Blast Furnace, Whyalla.

The AC-500-2 and GMK 5180 were mobilised immediately to recover a 220-tonne wagon back onto the rails.

Operations were time critical with production of steel suspended.

The 500t lifted one end of the wagon so the carriage could be rotated to the operating position. The 180t crane controlled the orientation of the carriage.

The 500t was then able to lift the wagon back onto the rails.
