Unload & Rotate new BHP Billiton Clarke Shaft Winder

MAX Services were engaged to provide specialised lifting to unload & rotate the new BHP Billiton Clarke Shaft Winder. The 140.5t Winder was delivered on a large platform in the horizontal position where it was rotated into the vertical orientation and positioned in a temporary cradle in our depot so additional work could be completed on it before delivery to site.

Two 4 tonne bearings were installed and it was reloaded onto transport. Total lift weight at the load out stage was 152,100 kg.

Equipment used in the lift included our AC-500-2 and LTM1250-6.1.
