Lincoln Gap Wind Farm

11.5 tonne Generator Exchange.

MAX Services exchanged an 11.5t generator on a wind turbine hub at a height of 110m at Lincoln Gap wind farm in regional South Australia.

The Heavy Lift Team utilised our Liebherr LTM11200-9.1 with 100m of main boom in a T7YVENZF configuration which has an increased wind speed limit of 9m/s. In this configuration the LTM11200-9.1 has a minimal footprint required for assembly and a decreased assembly & disassembly time.

One of our riggers can be seen preparing to lift off the roof of the nacelle. Our Heavy Lift Team riggers are all competent with working at heights and are GWO certified.
