Control Room Installation, Moomba, Cooper Basin.

MAX was engaged by Enerflex to unload and install a 59t MCC control room at Moomba in the Cooper Basin. The LTM 1400 All Terrain crane was mobilised 1000kms to site with the support of two road trains of equipment.

An extensive rigging arrangement was used with 3 spreader beams as the control room had 8 lift points. An extensive method statement was completed to ensure that the job was completed with minimal risk and an experienced supervisor was on site to ensure all went to plan.

The crane was on site for one day then returned to the depot in Port Augusta.
